Entity Framework 4.1 Create a stored procedure from a database first model

I just want to create a stored procedure from a existing model. Do I need to generate a dll and reference it in the context? What about parameters?

You can do this with the fluent API just like you would for an EF object context (in fact you could use the same code but the context is the only thing that would need to change):
var command = db.Database.Connection.CreateCommand();
command.CommandText = “procName”;
command.CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure;

and then execute it:

Also the EF will do this for you by default at build time so it is not required to

Protector Plus Console is a management console application that makes the task of managing Protector Plus anti-virus software installed in a Microsoft network easier. The files associated with Protector Plus Console are created in a different location where the application is installed. The location is either in the Program files or in the %ProgramFiles% folder depending on the installation preferences. When the profile is created or edited, it is automatically saved in the profile folder under which the client computer system is installed. I have installed Protector Plus Console along with the Protector Plus 10 Client on a Windows 2000 server. I have put in the password for the database, but it keeps asking for it everytime I restart the server. Any ideas as to what’s going on here?

I have installed Guardian 10 Client along with IIS 6.0 on a Windows 2000 server. I keep getting the same error: ‘This page encountered an unexpected error’, with the page number, ‘1’. I have a client application that runs on IIS 6.0, and this file is included as a site in IIS. I have set an application pool on the site, and after running the pool recycle, I can log on to the URL but the site will not run.

I have a Windows 2000 Server which has two network adapters, one for the office network and one for the client network. The server has two IP addresses, one for each network. The clients are all XP or Windows Vista machines.

We have installed at least 20 clients. There are less than 10 users, and once the client has been installed the user is locked out of the System Manager until the next day. Each client has an Administrator login, but they do not get a login reminder on the first day and can’t log in at all.

I have the latest version of Windows 2000 Server, and I have XP machines as clients. I have had trouble with the authentication not being passed on to the client. I have removed any trace of the old version of the client from the registry and the system is running fine.

We are working on creating an Internet based system, not connected to the network. Clients would click on a web page and an HTTP request would be put in to the server which would then send the response back to the client. What we are having trouble with is how to keep track of users and passwords.

I have installed the latest release of the iantivirus Engine 9.2.1 on a Windows 2000 Professional Server machine. When starting the software, the installation program, the engine is looking for the engine files in program files. I have set the directory in the installation program to the installation directory to my program files. When the install is finished the engine is installed. When I start the engine the engine tells me that it can’t load the engine files. What am I doing wrong?

I have just installed a single 10 client (XP). The server is connected to internet in a LAN with

Ensuring Protector Plus anti-virus software are constantly updated

It does this by comparing the version on our web site with the one installed on the clients. If an updated version is found on our web site, then InstaUpdate automatically downloads it and pushes the update to all the clients. The frequency at which InstaUpdate will check for the updates can be configured.
Groups consisting of clients systems on which Protector Plus anti-virus software is installed can be created and managed through Protector Plus Console. These groups created by Protector Plus Console are distinct from the user groups of the domain. These groups are for the purpose of enforcing uniform Protector Plus anti-virus software settings across all users in that group. When these settings are enforced, all the systems under the group will have uniform Protector Plus configurations. Changes effected to the group settings will be reflected immediately on all the systems configured under the group.
